IN CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Michiru Kaiou/Sailor Neptune
Canon:Sailor Moon
OU/AU/OC: OU
Canon Point: Post series
History:Enjoy a wiki link!
Personality: Having been in the public eye from a young age, Michiru has developed a very finely tuned public persona. She is a young woman of understated elegance, and faultless manners. And while she would never wish to be considered cold, she is very cool in her dealing with most people, always keeping a small, but noticeable distance which can come off as snobbery sometimes. But then again, she is exceedingly talented, and she takes pride in her abilities, though she would never stoop so low as to brag. Let people think what they like about her, she doesn't need other people's approval. She will be friendly of course – her parents probably heard many compliments about how well spoken and polite she was, and still is. Still, she does not suffer fools gladly, or really at all. Nor does she make a huge number of friends. Fans, yes. Admirers, yes. But not friends.

With those few friends she does have however, Michiru is a bit warmer, ready with an easy laugh and gentle teasing. The coolness is mostly gone, though her reactions and emotions are still very restrained. She falls easily into a quiet, maternalistic role, especially with the Inner senshi, and Hotaru.

As Sailor Neptune, things are a bit different. She is very goal oriented, focused on succeeding in her current mission (whatever that is at the time), and is quite willing to sacrifice as few to save the many. This is most apparent in S, where even more so that Uranus, she was quite willing to let people die to achieve the Talismans. But it shows up later as well, especially at the end of Stars where she's quite willing to kill Pluto and Saturn to prove her 'loyalty' to Galaxia. Also, along with the rest of the Outer Senshi, Neptune seems to remember that the whole "Must protect the princess" thing often involves saving her from herself, since Usagi is far, far too trusting.

And then there is Haruka. To say she loves Haruka with all her heart is an understatement. Nothing, literally nothing matters more to Michiru than Haruka does. She even says that "A world without Haruka is not worth saving" when she calls the monster's bluff in the SuperS special, and it's unclear if she knew it was a bluff at the time. She's shown herself willing to break her own rules to protect Haruka. She hasn't ever had to make the choice between protecting Haruka and protecting Usagi/Sailor Moon, and in all honesty, she's not sure she could make the right choice in that situation.

While her relationship with Haruka is obviously a major part of her life, Michiru is not one for excessive outward demonstrations, especially in public. She tends to veiled, yet pointed innuendo and significant looks most of the time. And if people assume this means that Haruka is the more dominant one in the relationship… well, Michiru is perfectly happy to let them think that.
Strengths: In addition to her mundane talents with music and art, Michiru is also one of the Sailor Senshi, specifically Sailor Neptune. She can transform into her senshi form, which gives her access to two special attacks. Deep Submerge is her base attack where she launches a ball of (sea)water energy at a foe. Her second attack, Submarine Reflection required her Talisman, the Deep Aqua Mirror, which blasts the foe with a wide beam of energy.

Outside of senshi form, Michiru does have a sort of sixth sense, which she often verbalizes as "The seas are troubled" or something similar. She's also been known to have prophetic dreams, usually the same ones as Haruka and Setsuna. Finally, she has access to the Deep Aqua Mirror even outside of senshi form, and by staring into it can occasionally get glimpses of future trouble.

Weaknesses: Michiru is mostly a normal human(pony), with the normal mortal weaknesses. Personality-wise she's snobbish, emotionally distant, mildly obsessive, and a perfectionist
Possessions: Deep Aqua Mirror
Pony/Animal Type: Unicorn
Cutie Mark: The symbol for Neptune
Pony Picture:HERE - I'll work on more drawings/icons soon, I promise

SAMPLES
First Person: I will not waste time asking obvious questions regarding my sudden transformation. If someone did have an answer I have faith that there would be far fewer people, or perhaps I should say ponies, wandering around quite so confused. I have little doubt the reason for everything will be found out and... dealt with in time. Better to focus on more immediate things. Is there anyone here who's seen another recent arrival answering to the name of Haruka? I would offer a physical description, but as it seems this rather odd change is universal, I fear I am less helpful than normal in that regard. Though I would not be surprised if she was a pegasus. It would account for why I have not found her yet.

I would also appreciate if someone more used to this whole... pony situation might be able to help me, as I am both an artist and a musician. While neither are my career, they are enjoyable hobbies to pursue in the mean time before I am able to return home, and both currently seem a little difficult due to the limitations of my current form. And yet there is evidence of both artistic and musical influences all around me here. Thus, I would appreciate instruction in how one is supposed to surmount the physical limitations.

Thank you.
Third Person: Michiru trotted down the street, looking around with a combination of interest and cool annoyance. Honestly, the town was fascinating, the aesthetics almost something out of a child's anime - all brightly colored with clean lines. The artist in her could appreciate it even if her personal tastes ran towards the darker and more abstract. But none of that changed the fact that she was somehow stuck in the body of a four footed pony with no opposable thumbs, and to the extent she'd been able to discover so far, completely alone.

Oh, there were other ponies of course, even a goodly number ponies who, like herself, seemed to be new; both to this place and to being ponies. But none of them were the people she knew, and most importantly none of them were Haruka. Which, of course meant none of them really mattered. It was totally unfair of her, she knew, and if searching didn't turn up either her beloved or a way home within a few days, she supposed she would make outreaches to the other inhabitants. It would only be polite after all. But until then, she saw no reason to indulge anything that took her away from her searching
